I am a public school teacher with over 25 years of experience in various classroom types. I believe parents make educational decisions based on individual needs of their children, but academic instruction is difficult. I can help students receiving instruction in brick-and-mortar, online, or homeschool settings. My tutoring and parent  coaching approaches utilize curriculum and materials chosen by schools or parents by modeling methods of instruction that best fit learning styles of their children. 

I have spent my career examining materials and curriculum and developing methods and approaches to meet varying individual student needs. Creative methods of instruction developed by me and inspired by student abilities and interests also fill my tool box. Extensive opportunities to conference with parents and consult with them regarding ways to encourage and engage students has  ignited a desire to support all parents seeking guidance.
